Annual Performances
All students that study at dancers' corner are invited to participate in our year end recital in June, which is tentatively scheduled for the weekend of June 20-21, 2009. This is a chance for all of the students to share what they have learned with friends and family. Students must be enrolled from January through June to participate. Although rehearsing for the show does not begin until April, it is necessary for students to learn basic technique before learning routines. Classes up until this time will focus on technique training. Good attendance is required to insure that each dancer achieves an appropriate skill level. Recital participation is not obligatory but highly encouraged. Students may enroll after January if there is space in a class but will not be eligible to perform in June. More details will be released later in the year.
Pre-school students are also invited to participate in our annual holiday show in December. For the very young child, waiting until June may seem too long, so this mid-year performance gives the youngest students a chance to perform in a smaller group. They are accompanied by members of the company. This year's holiday show is tentatively scheduled for December 20, 2008.
For all studio performances, the dancer must be enrolled through to the time of the performance.
